Once Upon A …Sketch September 2013
Hello.This is my layout.「LUCKY」 This is a
house plant that is grown in our
house. The scientific name Phapis excelsa. Japan
name is Kannonchiku. One day, I
made a great discovery. Flower that does not
bloom seldom bloomed. Flower like
coral. I’m lucky! This flower is
very valuable. It is a flower of happiness. It is a
flower auspicious. I don’t
use the usual art supplies, I produced simple.
Here are some close ups of my
layout. Journalling is here.

How amazing it must have been to discover that your plant that doesn't bloom actually did do exactly that! looks like a very exotic plant to my Scandinavian eyes. The black background really makes the photo stand out wonderfully. Thank you so much for sharing this special moment with us at OUAS!
This is really beautiful! The bold colors against the black background are fantastic! SO glad you joined us at OUAS!!
Oh lucky indeed! This looks like an exotic & beautiful plant. I'd feel very lucky as well to have it bloom in my home especially if it's rare for it to do so. Great take on the challenge & sketch...the black background with the pops of color really work well! Thank you for joining us at OUAS!
